Indian Ridge Foothills is in the northeast area of Tucson. It is on the National Register of Historic Places. There are five subdivisions in the Indian Ridge Foothills neighborhood.

Most homes were built in between 1955 and 1964. Many are one-story brick ranch houses. Some are the traditional adobe style. They were built on winding roads that left most of the desert vegetation untouched.

Morris K. Udall Park is in the central part of Indian Ridge Foothills. The park has a playground, a jogging track, soccer fields, four tennis courts, walking paths, and a pool. There is even a dog park for residents to bring their dogs for some playtime. Residents can enjoy a picnic at the park or go to exercise.

Since Indian Ridge Foothills is near Mt. Lemmon, many residents take day trips or spend time in the mountain’s rental cabins. Indian Ridge Foothills is also close to Sabino Canyon Recreation Area. The canyon is full of hiking trails, and some visitors swim in the canyon after it rains.

Lowes Ventana Canyon Resort is a short drive away, and residents and visitors can enjoy horseback riding, nature trails, spa services, and the resort’s restaurant.

There are two schools in the Indian Ridge Foothills neighborhood: Tucson Accelerated High School and Van Horne Elementary School.

There are many bike and hiking trails for the residents to use. These trails are frequently used for jogging, as well.

Indian Ridge Foothills has many wonderful restaurants for residents to enjoy. The Eclectic Café offers a wide variety of dishes such as Strawberry and Chicken Salad and Joey’s Southwestern Chicken Pasta. They even serve some gluten-free meals.
