Located on Kansas City’s west side, the Victory Hills neighborhood in Kansas is bordered by Interstate 70 to the south, Leavenworth Road to the north, North 91st street to the west, and North 67th Street to the east. Spreading over 8.340 square miles, Victory Hills is a large community with a population of more than 17,000. A majority of residences were built in the 1950s and 1960s, although a considerable amount of development also occurred into the 1970s.

Victory Hills is conveniently located within minutes of a variety of major Kansas City thoroughfares, including Interstate 70, Interstate 435, Interstate 35, and Interstate 635. Victory Hills also offers a proximity to assortment of amenities near or within the neighborhood itself. Kansas City Kansas Community College, a two-year public institution, is situated along the neighborhood’s eastern edge. Westfield Shopping Center and Arrowhead Shopping Center are both in the middle of Victory Hills. Residents seeking additional shopping opportunities can take a 20-minute trip to Overland Park to visit Oak Park Mall, which features nearly 200 stores and which is the largest mall in the Kansas City metro area.
Outdoor enthusiasts enjoy the neighborhood’s proximity to Stoney Creek Park, located along the southwest corner of Victory Hills, as well as Turkey Creek Steamway Park, which sits along the neighborhood’s northeastern edge and features tennis courts, a baseball diamond, and several trails for walking and biking.
