For golfers, Mayview is about a mile from Oklahoma City Golf and Country Club. This is a place for a good workout, with eight tennis courts, a large swimming pool and a fitness center. The golf course is well maintained, and it is a model of a great course, with beautiful greens and stately trees.

There are also several other parks within a few miles of Mayview, which means that this is a place that isn’t lacking in recreation and playgrounds.

Many large trees grow here, providing shade for the the community, and they are spaced out enough that there isn’t a feeling of being confined. Wildlife isn’t uncommon, since the lake is so close to the neighborhood.
