North Creston Hils Apartments for Rent

North Creston Hills is a small residential community in the northern part of Oklahoma City. It is one of two neighborhoods with its namesake, the other being South Creston Hills located across NE 23rd Street. This neighborhood is in the center of several historical museums, shopping centers, and public parks, making it ideal for entertainment lovers.

In the southwestern corner of the neighborhood, shoppers can visit the North Eastern Shopping Center. This shopping center is home to a Family Dollar store and Home Town Pharmacy. For out of town visitors, Relax Inn is close to the shopping center as well as major thoroughfares making it easy to get around the rest of the city.

North Martin Luther King Jr Avenue acts as the western boundary to this small, residential neighborhood. NE 23rd Street intersects with it to create the southern boundary. To the east, residents can access Interstate Highway 35, its eastern border. North of a swath of undeveloped land, the northern boundary is made up of NE 36th Street.

Restaurants in the southwestern part of North Creston Hills include TJs Seafood, Kentucky Fried Chicken, and Sonic Drive-In. A few blocks to the north, Carican Flavors offer a unique Carribean flair to their food.

North of North Creston Hills, the Oklahoma Railway Museum was founded in 1972 by a group of railroad enthusiasts and works to preserve and display railroad equipment and to pass along the history of the railroad and how it developed in Oklahoma. Open on Thursday, Friday and Saturday every week, the museum even has a working train that visitors can ride. To the west of the museum, visitors can stop by the 45th Infantry Division Museum which hosts exhibits the Korean War, World War II and other military groups.
