Devon Valley Apartments for Rent(hide neighborhood information)
Nestled against a densely-wooded area to the east of Old Hickory Boulevard, the Devon Valley neighborhood is located on the southwest side of Nashville. The relatively secluded subdivision is comprised of single-family homes along Devon Valley Drive, Glenway Drive, and Glenway Court.
The homes are a mixture of single-story and two-story residences, the majority of which were constructed in the 1990s. Because the community can only be accessed at the intersection of Glenway Drive and Old Hickory Boulevard, it experiences a minimal amount of through traffic. A thick layer of trees lines the outside edges of Devon Valley, which provides residents with plenty of privacy.
Downtown Nashville, which features an array of cultural, historical, and entertainment opportunities, is a 13-mile trip to the northeast. The state’s capital, coined “Music City, USA,” is home to such famous attractions as the Grand Ole Opry, Ryan Auditorium, and Country Music Hall of Fame. Students residing in the Devon Valley neighborhood will benefit from a convenient commute to Nashville State Community College, which boasts over 80 majors and is located within eight miles of the subdivision. Vanderbilt University is located less than 10 miles to the northeast on the edge of downtown Nashville.
Devon Valley residents seeking outdoor adventures can travel three miles to Percy Warner Park and Edwin Warner Park, which together comprise 2,684 acres of forest. Featuring hiking and horse trails, scenic overlooks, golf courses, picnic areas, and athletic fields, the Warner Parks are the perfect place to enjoy the great outdoors surrounding Nashville.
