The 7-mile Pinnacle Trail is hailed as some of the best scenery in middle Tennessee. This trail is harder than Lakeside because of the length.

Several Churches in and near Starboard include Una Church of Christ, Watson Chapel and Vultee Church of Christ. All offer Sunday worship and are active in community service.

Hickory Hollows Mall, located at 5252 Hickory Hollow Pkwy is a premier shopping center with anchor stores Macys and Sears. The mall offers upscale shops and specialty stores as well as restaurants and kiosks.
