Belle Meade Plantation is just a short drive northwest from the Stuart Glen neighborhood. This is a historic 30 acre plantation house that has a great restaurant, a guided tour, and a nice gift shop. It also is a popular venue for weddings and other events. Their claim to fame is the horse stud which produced some of the finest horses in American history. Almost every famous horse can trace their roots back to Belle Meade.

When residents of Stuart Glen want to go grocery shopping, there is a Trader Joe’s on Hillsboro Pike. Close by is the Bluebird Café, one of the most famous evenings of live entertainment available in Nashville. Many famous stars got their start at the Bluebird.

The Mall at Green Hills is located where Hillsboro Pike meets Abbott Martin Road. The mall is anchored by Dillard’s and Macy’s. This is an upscale mall and among the stores that have shops in the mall are Brooks Brothers, Burberry, Cole Haan, Benetton, and Tiffany and Company.
