Much of this neighborhood is urban with high rise buildings, strip malls and commercial enterprises. Birmingham City Hall is one of the historic and attractive buildings in this neighborhood. They have received a grant that will not only help them rebuild the neighborhood but also allow people who have dreamed of owning a home but who have a limited income to fulfill that dream. They are also creating a neighborhood with tree lined streets. There are other neighborhoods that are also benefiting from these types of homes being built.
