Hanceville, AL Apartments for Rent

Founded in 1879, Hanceville is a charming city and the second largest in Cullman County. Hanceville is located in north-central Alabama and features great shopping areas, beautiful parks, and a variety of restaurants and other businesses.

Rent a Hanceville apartment and you’ll be living near the Our Lady of the Angels Monastery, a beautiful landmark that was built in 1996 and completed in 1999. You’ll also be near Wallace State Community College, a two-year school with several associate’s degree programs. The school partners with Athens State University, allowing students to transfer after completing junior and senior level classes.

Hanceville is a friendly community with several events and festivals, including holiday parades and the popular Mud Creek Festival. Set in a beautiful area of rolling hills, streams, and lakes, there’s plenty of outdoor adventures for those renting apartments in Hanceville. Travel about 25 miles west of Hanceville and you’ll find Bankhead National Forest. This 180,581-acre park includes four developed campgrounds as well as opportunities for primitive camping throughout the forest, including Owl Creek Horse Camp for equestrian campers. From your campground, you can enjoy the park’s features, such as the Natural Bridge, which is the longest such bridge east of the Rockies. Park activities include hiking, biking, horseback riding, camping, and fishing.

When you want to enjoy the benefits of a larger city, Hanceville is only nine miles southeast of Cullman and only about 40 miles north of Birmingham.
