Campbell Park Neighborhood

Campbell Park is nearly a cookie-cutter square within Anchorage, between Lake Otis Parkway to the west, Dowling Road to the south, Elmore Road to the east, and East Tudor Road to the north. The community is actually named for the large park bearing the same name, which encompasses about half of the square that Campbell Park takes out of the city and extends into eastern Anchorage.

Just to the north of the community are the Providence Medical Center, the Alaska Native Medical Center, and the University of Alaska Anchorage, making it a popular community with college students, nurses, and other hospital staff. The community is marked by many walking trails, wooded parks, and even a small river running through its center that offers ample opportunity for recreation, nature viewing, and other activities.

Many of the residences within Campbell Park are apartments and multi-family homes, offering everything from the one-bedroom, one-bath apartment, to the four-bedroom, 2.5-bath duplex with garage. Most apartment complexes are maintained to some of the best standards within the city and more often than not near maximum residency occupancy due to its proximity to area landmarks and short commute to midtown and downtown Anchorage.
