Harrison Road, to the west, provides access to many of the major attractions in the immediate area. To the south, at the corner of Harrison and Golf Links Road, the Miller Golf Links Library provides thousands of books for both research and pleasure. The library’s many computers provide opportunities for students to work on projects, residents to search for jobs, and for web surfers to ride the waves.

Harrison Road also has a number of retail establishments and restaurants that provide for the major needs of residents in a convenient location. The stores include Party City, Ace Hardware, Big Lots, Target, Office Max, Bed Bath and Beyond, and Payless Shoe Source. There are also many restaurants offering a wide variety of dining options with a number of both quick service and sit down establishments.

The closest destination for recreation is Rolling Hills Park, less than two miles to the west. This park provides a number of amenities, including a moderate sized golf course, golf driving range, basketball courts, tennis courts, baseball field, and a playground. The park is popular with residents, especially with golfers that come to smack around a few balls at the driving range or play out a game at the course.
