Reservoir Neighborhood

Reservoir is a lovely residential neighborhood of Little Rock, located only a 15-minute drive northwest of the city. Single-family homes are tucked between trees on spacious lots, some as large 10 acres. The average price for homes in this area is $233,000.

Residents enjoy a mild climate that still offers four seasons. The temperatures rarely fall below freezing during the winter months and go no higher than the eighties in the middle of summer. The Jackson Reservoir is so close that some residents can walk to the lake. Little Rock Reservoir Park is also located at the lake and provides multiple recreational opportunities. Arkansas is noted for a variety of hunting and fishing opportunities, especially bass fishing. Residents who like the outdoors will not be disappointed.

Nearby Little Rock, the capital city of Arkansas, offers a variety of cultural sites, including museums and theaters. The newest attraction, the William J. Clinton Presidential Library, overlooks the Arkansas River. Sightseers can ride one of three trolleys around the city and enjoy any of the multiple restaurants that offer a variety of cuisine and price ranges.

History buffs can drive to nearby Hot Springs, located just 50 miles to the west. People have been attracted to the springs for more than 200 years and have sought better health and relaxation in the warm water. Hot Springs has attracted visitors from all walks of life and was known as the American Spa. The Hot Springs National Park is located at the north end of the city. It includes a restored bathhouse, a visitor’s center, and a museum.

The Reservoir neighborhood offers residents the best of both worlds, living in the country yet remaining close to all that Little Rock and Arkansas have to offer.
