Beverly Glen Neighborhood

Gated French Chateaux, Mediterranean Villas and sophisticated modern homes line the canyon neighborhood of Beverly Glen, making it one of the wealthiest neighborhoods in Los Angeles. The median home price in this exclusive neighborhood is $1.7 million. In addition to the large estate homes, the Beverly Glen neighborhood also features some smaller single family homes dating back to the 1920s.

Beverly Glen is in the Bel-Air section of the city on the Westside. The neighborhood lies in the hills and canyons of the Santa Monica Mountains along Beverly Glen Boulevard and side streets and is bound by Mulholland Drive on the north and Sunset Boulevard on the south. It is in the 90210 and 90077 zip codes.

Beverly Glen Boulevard is a popular commuter route between the San Fernando Valley and the Westside of Los Angeles. During the morning and evening commute it gets backed up with traffic. The neighborhood is close to Interstate 405, one of the main arteries through Los Angeles.

Beverly Glen Park lies within the neighborhood on Angelo Drive and Baywood Street. The area is also close to other major Westside Los Angeles attractions. The University of California Los Angeles is in nearby Westwood. The Getty Center museum, with an art collection from the middle ages through to today, is in nearby Brentwood. Beverly Glen also is close to Beverly Hills and the Beverly Center, one of the major shopping malls in the area.

Beverly Glen schools are part of the Los Angeles Unified School District. Residents attend the Warner Avenue Elementary School or Roscomare Road Elementary School, Emerson Middle School, and University High School. Also nearby is the exclusive private school Harvard-Westlake.
