Designer kitchen, glass rock fireplace (it's decoration only), lush furnishings, state of the art amenities, multiple seating areas and quiet nooks, including an off-kitchen den, dining area, and reading corner. The focal point is the luxury living room with custom furnishings, large flat-screen TV (with a full line-up of premium channels). Includes a lovely wine bar. The gourmet kitchen is fully equipped - gas range with exhaust hood, dishwasher, double stainless apron sink, turbo cool side-by-side freezer fridge with filtered water and multiple ice settings. The guest quarters include two queen beds with individual reading lights, flat-screen TV with premium cable, full-sized washer-dryer, generous closet space and dressers, iron & ironing board, luggage racks, and a ceiling fan for an extra measure of comfort. The guest bath was expertly designed and assembled by hand, one square of ceramic and glass tile at a time. Featuring a custom robin's-egg sink bowl, extensive storage, independent digital electric heat (for chilly mornings), rain shower and separate wand, and under-cabinet night lighting, this oversized bath has it all. Sun porch, with tile floor, ceiling fan and bright sunlight ceiling. Additional fold-out bed as option for 5th person. The sun porch opens on to the private patio, for sun bathing, dining, or just meditating among the lovely bougainvillea blooms. Take your laptop or tablet anywhere on the grounds and enjoy our free wireless high-speed Internet access. While La Costa is an extremely safe and well-monitored neighborhood, additional security measures are offered to guarantee a good night's sleep. These include triple-point door locks, security camera, gate locks, and redundant sliding door locks. Guest Access: two leisure pools, valley views, No stairs. Just two miles to Carlsbad Beach, with easy parking and breathtaking sunsets & all kinds of water fun. The area is also rich in nature trails (Batiquitos Preserve), cycling routes, mountain biking, running paths, and historical Carlsbad Village. San Diego is just a short drive south; we are just 30 miles from San Diego airport (recommended airport). Sleeps up to 5 people. Bookings starting Feb 15, 2024 $199 non-refundable cleaning fee (per month & after move-out). A refundable deposit of $595 is also requested. Utility surcharge $3.33/day.
