Southridge Village Neighborhood

Southridge Village is a green place to live in the 92337 zip code of Fontana, California. The neighborhood is scenic with a small town feel, even though it’s rather densely populated. With an area of about five square miles, it has a population of approximately 25,500 residents.

Junupa Avenue borders Southridge Village to the north, and Pomona Freeways borders it to the south. Sierra Avenue serves as its eastern border, and Country Village Road serves as its western border.

With several parks located within the borders of the community, there are seemingly endless opportunities for nature enthusiasts and outdoors lovers. The Fontana Bird Park offers swimming opportunities, hiking trails, and bike paths. The Martin Tudor Jurupa Hills Regional Park features picnic pavilions, multiple-use sports field, horseshoe pits, walking paths, a volleyball court, and a playground for children. Southridge Village Open Space Preserve and Southridge Park are also within the neighborhood.

The community is a popular place for college students to call home as it is near a diverse array of nearby schools. Riverside Community College and California Baptist College are just a short drive to the southeast. Everest College is five minutes to the west. La Sierra University, Pitzer College, Chaffey College, and Franklin Career College are also nearby.

Cultural and educational landmarks are also within easy reach of residents. The Jurupa Mountains Cultural Center is to the southeast, along with the Riverside Art Museum, which has an extensive collection of fine art. The Riverside Heritage House offers both permanent and rotating exhibits. The Mission Inn Museum is an historical landmark with several artifacts and displays.
