Marina Pacifica Neighborhood

The Marina Pacifica neighborhood is located on the waterfront in Long Beach, California, just north of Seal Beach. Residents can enjoy the beaches, as well as the boating waterways of Naples and Alamitos Bay. The Naples neighborhood is famous for its Christmas lights and boat parades.

The parks in this area are numerous, but smaller in size. These parks include Gum Grove Park, Marina Community Park and Eisenhower Park. Those who wish to enjoy more open spaces can visit the Anaheim Bay National Wildlife Refuge, which is located a few miles to the south. Residents can also drive approximately five miles north to large El Dorado Park.

Entertainment options are numerous in the Marina Pacifica area. Shopping can be found at the Market Place Shopping Center, and there are multiple dining options up and down 2nd Street. There are multiple golfing opportunities at a number of area courses. These courses include Bixby Village Golf Course, Recreation Park Golf Course, Old Ranch Golf Course and El Dorado Regional Park Golf Course.

The neighborhood is located a few miles south of California State University, Long Beach, which provides a large number of educational, sports, and entertainment options. Marina Pacifica is also a few miles from the Rancho Los Alamitos Museum.

A short two-mile drive will take residents to downtown Seal Beach, which features numerous shopping and restaurant choices. The downtown Seal Beach area ends at the beach, where visitors can walk down the pier and enjoy the view of downtown Long Beach. Residents can take advantage of the well-known Pacific Coast Highway for a scenic drive up or down the coast.
