Cypress Park Neighborhood

Only three miles from downtown Los Angeles, the Cypress Park neighborhood has become a desirable location because of its proximity to downtown and its beautiful surroundings. Situated along the Los Angeles River, Cypress Park is south of Mount Washington and west of Lincoln Heights. Elysian Park is west of Cypress Park, just across the river. This large park is the oldest park in Los Angeles. Dodger Stadium borders this park on the south side.

Cypress Park is north of Pasadena Freeway and west of Lincoln Heights. It is south of the Rio De Los Angeles State Park, a beautiful park with hiking rails, a playground, sports fields, and a recreation building. Cypress Park has a community center and a large recreation center with ball fields and a playground.
