The Willows Neighborhood

This neighborhood is located within a couple of miles of the San Francisco Bay waterfront and is just southwest of the Dubarton Bridge.

Those residents of The Willows who enjoy area parks can visit green spaces such as Willow Oaks Park, Eleanor Pardee Park and Jack Farrell Park. Larger parks are located on the coast, to the east of the community, and include the Ravenswood Open Space Preserve and the Palo Alto Baylands Park. To the north is Bayfront Park, which is also on the shore of the Bay.

Golfers can enjoy a round at the Palo Alto Municipal Golf Course or the Stanford Golf Course. Educational options are numerous near this California community and include all levels of schooling. The Willows is close to Duveneck and Belle Haven Elementary Schools, Menlo-Atherton and Palo Alto High Schools, and Stanford University. Shopping options include the nearby Gateway 101 or Palo Alto Square. Residents can also travel six miles to the outdoor shopping mall at the San Antonio Shopping Center.

The Willows is located within a few blocks of the VA Healthcare System of Menlo Park. Residents can also drive two miles to the Stanford University Medical Center. In addition, the neighborhood is less than a mile from the Stanford Research Institute.

The community is also less than two miles from the 101 freeway, which can be accessed via the Willow Road or University Avenue ramps. This freeway connects to most of northern California. Air travel can be accomplished by traveling 19 miles to the San Francisco International Airport or 17 miles to the San Jose International Airport.
