The community feeling in Saratoga is very strong with the smaller size allowing for deeper personal lifelong connections to be built. The schools are some of the best in the Bay Area! The house is at the end of Canyon View Drive on what is called the cardio hill by the locals as many people walk the loop on a daily basis so it is never lonely. Fully fenced with automated gates and 3 pedestrian gates! Almost an acre of wooded oasis with an active planted vineyard that makes about 150-200 bottles of the finest California Cabs and Merlot every year. Happy to share the yield and the wine. Being on top of the hill with only one exit road is very secure. It has excellent soothing views of the bay area. The house has a cabin-like feel with high ceilings, big windows, plenty of light and air. It has 6 porches on various levels of the house and a couple meditation benches in the woods overlooking the bay. The entrance is east facing for those who care. Chef's kitchen with the finest and the most beautiful green quartzite slabs that we could buy. Quartzite is a natural stone with the durability of a granite but the beauty of a marble and not to be confused with quartz which is a synthetic product. Two huge Sub-Zero refrigerators and all Wolf appliances with the biggest sink you would find in the market. A gourmet chef's paradise. The kitchen has a custom dining table made of quartzite with an in-built induction stove that has been the highlight of our dinners with friends and family enjoying hot pots, sautees, teas and fondues gathered around the table. The kitchen is also designed to have a working side and a front side so the mess can be hidden in the working side while entertaining. Beautiful all natural bamboo shades around the kitchen and living room. The barbeque porch is right outside the kitchen and has a big granite counter with two sinks and an installed gas line barbecue grill with benches all around so summer entertaining around the grill is easy and fun. Over 50 planted roses that bloom twice a year with plenty of other flowering trees. But roses are our favorites and we have a lot of them. High yield producing fruit trees : Persimmons, Pomegranates, Figs, Apples, Clementines, Lemon, two kinds of Cherries, Blackberry bush, Strawberry planters, Mulberry tree, Peach, Plum and Jujube trees that all fruit annually. Gardening with yard maintenance and water is included in the rent. We have two teams of gardeners, one for the garden and one for the vineyard that come regularly and take care of the yard, garden and vineyard maintenance so the tenants do not have to worry about that. The two car garage has an EV charger. There is plenty of parking outside for guests and friends. Professional installation of the best quality wi-fi infrastructure -Unifi Networks that covers the whole property! We have 4 access points around the house and each access point can support 100+ devices simultaneously if needed. The owners work tech jobs and needed connectivity to be top notch which it is. The tenants are welcome to use the same infrastructure. Our network / electrical contractor can create a new account for them. Originally a 3 bed and 3 bath with 3 family rooms. One of the family room areas has been converted into an office / guest bedroom. A queen murphy bed is installed there that doubles up as an office desk during the day and a queen bed during the night with beautiful bamboo curtains for privacy. Lovely views of the bay area from all the bedrooms. It is simply beautiful to wake up in the morning to those gorgeous views. Laundry area has two washers and two dryers with plenty of storage. One of the upstairs porch has a big gazebo with a portable fireplace table that uses a propane tank. We have spent many evenings chatting and drinking with friends up there. Fully rebuilt two new porches. Freshly painted interior and exterior with all minor repairs completed so the home is like new. The house is unique and a bit quirky but we love it and spent a very happy 12 years raising two children here! Looking for long term tenants who we hope will enjoy the space as much as we did and will care for the property as their own!
