Village of Five Parks Neighborhood

Village of Five Parks is a rather small, moderately populated residential community of Arvada, a half-hour northwest of Denver. It is bordered to the north by West 86th Parkway and to the south by West 82nd Avenue. County Road 19 serves as the eastern border, while Indiana Street is its western border.

The four-acre Beeman Park, located within the community, includes a ball park, shelters, a turf play area, and connectiing trails. 84th Haskin Park is also in the neighborhood. Pearce Park is a half-mile to its southwest, while Pioneer Park is a mile to its east. Apex Park, a mile and a half to the south, offers an ice skating rink, recreation center, playground with an indoor treehouse, pools, and golf.

There are many shopping centers and stores nearby. The Brookhill Shopping Center is four miles to its east, while the Denver Brass Armadillo Antique Mall is four and a half miles to its south. Westminster Mall, a major indoor shopping complex, is five miles to its east. It offers such stores as Sears, Dillard’s, JC Penney, Foot Locker, Hot Topic, and Lenscrafters.

Several restaurants are within walking distance. Marco’s Pizza and Jack’s Bar & Grill are in the northwestern part of the neighborhood. Malone’s Clubhouse Grill is two and a half miles to its south, and City Pizza & Pasta is two miles to its east. Wendy’s, Tequila’s, and Egg & I Restaurant are about two and a half miles to its south.
