STUDENTS 18 and Over MUST meet one of the following requirements: Must be enrolled in an institution of higher education AND must meet one or more of the following exception criteria: - 24 years of age or older - Veteran in the U.S. military - Person with a disability. - Have a dependent child - Living with a parent who is determined to be eligible - Married - Receiving assistance under Title IV of the SS Act, also known as Temporary Assistance to Needy Families (TANF). - Enrolled in a job training program receiving assistance under the Workforce Investment Act (formerly known as the Job Training Partnership Act) or under a similar federal, state, or local program. - Previously under the care and placement responsibility of the State agency administering a plan under title IV (i.e., Foster Care).
