Northfield Commons Neighborhood

Northfield Commons is a neighborhood in Boulder, Colorado in the 80301 zip code. The boundaries of the neighborhood are Palo Parkway to the north and Kalmia Avenue on the south. This is a newer, planned neighborhood that offers a variety of housing options. Single family detached homes, town houses, row houses, duplexes, and condos are available. As a planned community, there are neighborhood parks and open spaces built into the plan, and sidewalks make walking in the neighborhood enjoyable. This neighborhood is located northeast of downtown Boulder. Public transportation is available within an easy walk. Boulder Municipal Airport is less than five miles away.

When residents are looking for the mall experience, the 29th Street Mall offers the perfect place to get retail therapy. Anchored by Macy’s this mall includes a variety of shopping and entertainment opportunities. There are fashion stores such as Anthropologie, Cold Water Creek, Eddie Bauer, Gymboree, Famous Footwear, J Jill, Loft, and Men’s Wearhouse. Other retailers include Home Depot, Whole Foods, Sephora, Verizon, and the Vitamin Shoppe. For dining there is a Chipotle, Panera Bread, Starbucks, and Applebee’s among others. For entertainment there is a playground for the kids and a 16 screen theater offering a wide selections of movies for every member of the family.

Residents who enjoy golf in a private club setting will enjoy the Boulder Golf Club. Located in the Gunbarrel section of Boulder this is a private member owned club that is recognized as one of the finest in the state of Colorado. The 18 hole course was designed by Press Maxwell as was the 9 hole course. In addition, there are tennis courts, both indoor and outdoor swimming pools, jacuzzi, and a fitness facility. The clubhouse offers several dining options.
