Stony Creek Neighborhood

Stony Creek is on the southwest side of Littleton, Colorado, not far from Columbine and Ken Caryl. This is a primarily residential area, with a variety of housing choices that include apartment communities and townhomes. The neighborhood features sidewalks and walking paths, making the area very pedestrian-friendly.

Like much of Boulder, the Stony Creek neighborhood is surrounded by opportunities for outdoor recreation, including a variety of neighborhood parks. These include Lilly Gulch Park, Chief Colorow Park, Christensen Meadows Park, and Valley View Park. Residents are also close to Marston Lake, Deer Creek Canyon Park, and Chatfield State Park. Hosting a large lake, Chatfield is one of 42 state parks in Colorado, a popular destination for camping, fishing, boating, hiking, biking, and horseback riding.

One of the city's largest shopping centers, Southwest Plaza, is situated a few minutes to the north, along West Bowles Avenue. This indoor retail complex offers five major department stores and over 150 specialty shops, as well as dining and entertainment options. This is just one of several shopping centers in the area.

Among the many golf courses within five miles of Stony Creek include The Meadows Golf Club and Raccoon Creek Golf Course.
