Seaford, DE Houses for Rent

The charmingly beautiful river city of Seaford, Delaware dates back to the earliest of English settlers. Explored by Captain John Smith in 1608, the first official settlement was in 1672, when Jeremiah Jadwin arrived here from Virginia. While the settlement grew slowly, it grew steadily and became a flourishing agricultural area.

The rich history of Seaford is rivaled only by its natural beauty. The city is tucked along the Nanticoke River and was once voted one of the Best Small Towns in America. It is home to some of the area’s best riverfront beaches, a large collection of stores and restaurants, and a vibrant business community.

Seaford has a gorgeous downtown area that is one of seven Main Street communities in Delaware. Historic Downtown Seaford contains a variety of shops, boutiques, cafes, and restaurants decorated with immaculate landscaping, wide sidewalks, and period lighting. An apartment for rent in Seaford is a terrific idea if you enjoy living in a gorgeous city with a small, riverfront village atmosphere.
