Meadows Neighborhood

Located northwest of downtown Boynton Beach and roughly three miles from the Atlantic Ocean, the Meadows community offers both single-family homes and condos in an area lined with trees. The lower half of the neighborhood, closer to Miner Road, is mostly ranch-style homes, developed beginning in the 1980s. An exception is a group of town houses in the southeast corner. North of this complex is a group of larger, two-story properties fronting a small man-made pond. Wellesley Lane is the only road into this community, which also offers its own tennis courts.

One of the largest condo complexes in the northern half of the neighborhood is along West Meadows Circle. Known as Meadows on the Green, this low-rise complex was built in 1986 and features putting greens onsite as well as a community pool. This pet-friendly complex has units for both sale and rent.

The very northern part of Meadows is commercially zoned and is home to the Freedom Shores Elementary School, a small mall on Hypoluxo Road, and a few restaurants. Santaluces Community High School is across from the elementary school.

This same roadway leads east to the High Ridge Country Club, a fixture in Boynton Beach since 1980. Farther east is Interstate 95 and the waterfront community of Hypoluxo. South along North Congress Avenue is a collection of shopping centers. Boynton Beach Mall is by far the largest. It is joined by Boynton Town Center, Oakwood Square, and the Forum Shops. Near these malls are the Quail Ridge and Pine Tree Golf Clubs, as well as Lake Ida, a mile-long inland lake known for bass fishing.
