Sunrise Intracoastal Neighborhood

Sunrise Intracoastal is a neighborhood in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. The gated community is in the 33304 zip code and has lots of amenities and 24-hour security. Many of its homes have direct access to the Intracoastal Waterway, and most others have views of it. The beach and a mall are within walking distance, and public transportation is available nearby.

Greenfield Park is a small neighborhood park within walking distance and has playground and picnic areas.

The Galleria is the largest  shopping center in the area. It is anchored by Neiman Marcus, Macy’s, and Dillard’s.

The 19-acre George English Park is close to this community. Sports fields, basketball courts, a tennis facility, and walking/jogging trails are all popular attractions. Families come to the park to picnic and to use the playground. Fishing and a boat launch are also available.

Neighborhood children in kindergarten through fifth grade can attend Bayview Elementary School.

The Bonnet House Museum & Gardens is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The 35-acre site includes a house built in 1920. The gardens have a variety of habitats for local species. The museum is the site of a number of temporary exhibits. Its location, less than a mile from the community, makes a membership a practical option.
