Craven Neighborhood

The Craven neighborhood is located in the Jacksonville, Florida area at the intersection of Craven Road and Sunbeam Road. The residents of Craven are just a short drive from the Gulf of Mexico. The Tivoli apartment complex is in this area as well as the United States Post Office.

Many of the homes in the quiet Craven neighborhood are on cul-de-sacs and have in-ground pools in their backyards. The neighborhood was built in 1990 and home owner’s association fees are $17 per month. The Craven homes are on private tree-lined lots and the homes generally have attached two-car garages. In addition to single-family homes, there are townhomes in Craven in the subdivision of Edgewater at Sunbeam. These townhomes were built in 2005.

Visitors and locals alike get away to the popular bed & breakfasts in the area. Visitors enjoy experiencing the Southern hospitality of the Jacksonville locals. Although, not commonly known, there is a large river that runs through Jacksonville called the St. John’s River.
