Hidden Hills Neighborhood

A neighborhood in the Fort Caroline area, the focal point of Hidden Hills is the Hidden Hills Country Club, founded in 1965. The Arnold Palmer-designed golf course, with its lush and rolling fairways, strategically placed ponds, and elevated greens has long been a mainstay for its members and guests. Towering pine trees and large oak trees dot the course. The course is located at 3901 Monument Boulevard.

The social epicenter of Hidden Hills is the 40,000-square-foot clubhouse, which has a panoramic view of the golf course from the open-air balcony. Hidden Hills is a popular place for weddings, with beautiful outdoor settings around the practice green. The clubhouse has dining and meeting rooms that host special events for area residents.

In the 32225 zip code area, Hidden Hills is bordered on the north and west by Fort Caroline Road, on the south by McCormick Road, and the east by Monument Road. Homes in the Hidden Hills community range in price from $135,000 to $400,000. The gated Hidden Hills Country Club Estates is a covenant-restricted country club community that intertwines with the golf course.

Hidden Hills is situated near two important Jacksonville attractions. The Fort Caroline National Memorial, at 12713 Fort Caroline Road, memorializes the 16th-century French effort to establish a permanent colony in Florida. Nothing remains of the original fort, but there is a near full-scale rendering of the fort along with exhibits and a visitor center. The Jacksonville Arboretum and Gardens features a spectacular variety of North Florida’s flora and fauna on 120 acres of natural preserve. Activities at the Arboretum include guided tours searching for owls and “Full Moon Campfires.” For public recreation, Buck Park at 11128 McCormack Road, named after local Realtor and developer James Buck, features a basketball court, four benches, and playground equipment.
