Karen is an ex-pat, having emigrated with her family from Manchester UK directly to Naples in 1998. She has is a familiar story, she began vacationing on the west coast of Florida in the 90's, usually to recover after a few days at Disney, Naples was virtually unknown in the UK market at that time, and she found it by accident. It did not take her long to fall in love with the natural beauty of the beaches, the amazing lifestyle for all ages and just the simple elegance that is so special to Naples. Soon it became harder and harder to settle back into the long grey days that the north of England is famous for. She was lucky, her youngest child was six and only just beginning her education and her others were either in college or graduated, if they were going to take the leap, now was the time. In 1998 Naples was not the place it is now, and Karen would be lying if she said her journey has been easy. Moving around the world takes a lot of guts particularly if you do not know anyone to offer some support, but she did it and now she is here to offer you the guidance she wishes she had had. She has had the extreme privilege of watching Naples grow & change & develop and change into this amazing town that just has so much to offer.
