With central Orlando nearby, visitors are only 10 minutes away from taking a swan ride around Lake Eola while live music plays from the shore. Numerous major roadways, including Interstate 4 and the 408 toll road, are within an 8-minute drive. These roads provide quick access to many destinations throughout the area.

Along the north boundary of Lake Terrace is Curry Ford Road, one of the largest roads in the area. Traveling down this road, it is easy to find a plethora of local businesses and national favorites. This area is filled with a wide variety of dining establishments, featuring everything from fast food to more exotic cuisine. Virtually every taste and culture is represented within only a few short miles.

The area is also well known for its top-notch medical care. Arnold Palmer Hospital and Orlando Regional Medical Center are only five miles down Curry Ford Road, creating the perfect location for those requiring close proximity to a hospital. With the larger hospitals in the area, Lake Terrace is also home to many working professionals that are part of the medical community.

Homes in Lake Terrace are typically newer, dating to the 1990s. The majority of the community surrounds the lake of its name, Lake Terrace, while the rest is stretched between Jessamine Avenue and South Crystal Lake drive, with portions extending to Conway Gardens Road.

Lake Terrace is a friendly community of working professionals. It is extremely quiet during the day, but after work, many of the neighbors come out to walk their dogs around Lake Terrace. It is also normal to see children, runners, and cyclists throughout the community.

Lake Terrace is a part of the 32806 zip code and is known to use the 321 and 407 area codes.
