Goulding-SE Pensacola Neighborhood

Goulding is a large community in Southeast Pensacola. Goulding-SE Pensacola is a fantastic area for your next apartment, providing nearby spectacular beaches and plenty to see and do. This area consists of a variety of smaller neighborhoods, so when looking for your Goulding apartment, be sure to check out Granada, Sugartree, and Birchwood – smaller neighborhoods in the community.

Granada is a small neighborhood in southeast Pensacola, roughly five minutes from downtown. Granada is near several area parks, including H.K. Matthews Park and Lamancha Square.

The Pensacola Private School of Liberal Arts, a small school founded in 1969, offers a unique style of teaching and is located in the Goulding area. Pensacola Christian Academy and Pensacola Christian College are also located nearby.

Residents can drive to Cordova Mall, Pensacola’s largest indoor shopping center, in minutes. The mall is surrounded by the Pensacola Regional Airport, Sacred Heart Heath System hospital, and Pensacola State College.

Goulding-SE Pensacola is about 30 minutes north of Pensacola’s white sand beaches, which are known as some of the most beautiful on Florida’s Gulf Coast. Gulf Islands National Seashore park has spots to picnic on the shore and hike. Golfers can choose from several nearby courses, such as the Osceola Municipal Golf Course.

A three-mile trip along Scenic Highway will bring residents to the bricked streets of Pensacola, a city characterized by its modern charm and Southern hospitality. Home to an assortment of galleries, shops, eateries, bars and cafes, the downtown district is a bustling hub of activity with something to offer everyone. The Pensacola Museum of Art, which showcases several permanent and traveling collections from nationally and internationally acclaimed artists, is fewer than four miles from Goulding in the heart of downtown Pensacola. Other nearby historical attractions include the Civil War Soldiers Museum and T.T. Wentworth Jr., Florida State Museum.

Residents intrigued by aviation history can visit the world-renowned National Naval Aviation Museum, which boasts more than 150 restored aircrafts, a myriad of hands-on exhibits, and more than 4,000 Navy, Marine Corps, and Coast Guard artifacts. The Pensacola Lighthouse, dubbed one of the most haunted lighthouses in the country, is about 12 miles away and regularly offers ghost hunts and lectures as well as climbing tours of the historic Florida landmark.

Perhaps the biggest attraction the Goulding neighborhood offers is its proximity to the sugar-sand beaches of the Gulf of Mexico. Surfers, swimmers, sunbathers and shell-seekers can take a 10-mile trip to the southeast to enjoy white-capped waves, and watch for wildlife ranging from sharks and rays to manatees and dolphins from the Pensacola Beach Gulf Pier.
