Bordered by Ronald Reagan Turnpike to the north and west, Northwest 62nd Street to the south, and Northwest 31st Avenue to the east, the Palm Aire neighborhood is situated on the southwest side of Pompano Beach, six miles from the city center. With a population of more than 100,000, Pompano Beach is less than 10 miles to the north of Fort Lauderdale in Broward County.

The Palm Aire subdivision consists of single-family homes along a series of winding roads. The homes throughout the neighborhood are a mixture of one-story and two-story residences, the majority of which were constructed throughout the 1990s, although some development continued into the early 2000s.

Residents of the Palm Aire neighborhood seeking unique shopping opportunities can visit Old Towne Village Shopping Center, located just over one mile to the southeast of the subdivision. An array of additional stores await residents at Pompano Square Mall, anchored by Sears, JC Penney, and Dillard’s, which is within nine miles of the neighborhood and also features several restaurants and more than 60 specialty stores.

Students residing in the Palm Aire community will benefit from easy access to several area educational institutions, including Coconut Creek Elementary School, less than four miles to the north of the subdivision, and Broadview Elementary School, a two-mile trip to the west. Boyd H. Anderson High School is also just over two miles from the Palm Aire neighborhood, and Broward College, which offers associate and bachelor degrees in programs ranging from accounting and astronomy to communications and creative writing, is less than five miles from the community.

Outdoor enthusiasts will enjoy Palm Aire Country Club three miles to the north. It features four golf courses as well as dining and banquet facilities.
