Lake Magdalene Neighborhoods

Lake Magdalene is a dynamic neighborhood located in north Tampa, just west of the University of South Florida. Its eastern border is I-275, which leads directly into downtown Tampa for fast and easy commutes. Lower Hillsborough Wilderness Preserve and Lettuce Lake Park are east of the neighborhood.

Being just minutes from Downtown Tampa, Lake Magdalene is a terrific place to rent your apartment. You’ll be close to a variety of popular attractions, shops, restaurants, and parks. The Side Splitters Comedy Club is located nearby and is known for its nationally-known comedians and improv.

For family entertainment, there are a few different options in the area. The first is the Museum of Science and Industry, located across from the University of South Florida on the Fowler Avenue side. This museum is constantly changing their exhibits; they are both entertaining and educational. The museum also features some excellent IMAX shows in its theater; these also change frequently.

Just behind the museum is one of the area’s biggest events, The Renaissance Festival. This festival is held annually and lasts about a month. It features artisans, musicians, and many time-period actors in character. This is a popular event for many residents throughout Tampa and especially enjoyed by children.
