Cambridge Neighborhood

Cambridge is a private neighborhood in Alpharetta, Georgia, west of the Johns Creek Town Center and north of State Highway 120. The zip code for this Fulton County community is 30005. This amenity-rich community consists of 370 homes near the John’s Creek Technology Park. Among the many features enjoyed by residents are a children’s playground, clubhouse with fitness center, tennis facility with six lighted courts, and pool complex with water slide, two wading pools, and a competition pool.

When you’re looking for recreational activities outside the neighborhood, you don’t have to look far. At least eight major golf courses/clubs are situated within a few miles to the south; these include St. Ives Country Club, The Hooch Golf Club, Country Club of the South, Rivermont Golf Course, Horseshoe Bend Golf Course, Dunwoody Country Club, and Cherokee Country Club. Any avid golfer would be in heaven living in Cambridge, with so many nearby golf courses to choose from. It might be difficult to decide which to play.

The Atlanta Athletic Club is also situated here. This private club is the home club of Bobby Jones, Jr. and the site of the 2011 PGA Championship. In addition to two championship 18-hole courses, the club also offers a par three, nine-hole course, indoor and outdoor tennis courts, Olympic-sized swimming pool, dining facilities, a 42,000-square-foot fitness center, and other amenities.

Clearly, if you’re looking for resort-style living near Atlanta, Cambridge is the neighborhood for you. Shopping is also convenient, with the Brookwood Marketplace, Johns Creek Town Center, and Shops at Johns Creek situated nearby. Between the three of them, these area retail centers offer a Target, Famous Footwear, Home Depot, Starbucks, Borders, Staples, pet hospital, and several dining options.
