Deerfield Neighborhood

Deerfield is a neighborhood in Alpharetta, Georgia, roughly 35 minutes north of Atlanta. The community is situated off of Deerfield Parkway, but several major roadways traverse the area; these include State Highway 9, 120 and 400, as well as U.S. Highway 19. The zip code for Deerfield is 30004; it is part of Fulton County.

Parks near Deerfield include Providence Park, Alpharetta North Park and Wills Park. The latter offers a variety of playing fields, as well as a swimming pool and the Wills Park Recreation Center. Alpharetta North Park also offers a variety of playing fields.

Shopping is also a convenient activity for Deerfield residents. The Ingles Shopping Center is situated to the west, and several retail centers can be found to the south, adjacent to Wills Park. These include Alpharetta Square Shopping Center, Alpha Park Shopping Center, and Alpharetta Crossing Shopping Center. Among the shopping and dining options offered in this area are a Publix market, Starbucks, Pizza Hut and McDonald’s. There are also several banks and a salon. Slightly further south are a dozen or so other retail centers, the most prominent of which is the North Point Mall and adjacent Northpoint Market Shopping Center. The former offers an Apple Store, Williams-Sonoma, American Girl Store and Dillard’s, while the latter hosts a Dick’s Sporting Goods and Target. Clearly, Deerfield residents have no shortage of shopping and dining options within a short drive of home.

Another convenience of living in Deerfield is close proximity to several area medical facilities. Both the North Fulton Regional Hospital and the Regency Hospital are situated within a few miles to the south, easily accessible via the area highways.
