Capitol View Neighborhood

The beautiful, gold-leafed dome of the Capitol building sets the small neighborhood of Capitol View apart from the rest of Atlanta, Georgia. This amazing highlight of the Atlanta skyline is just a part of what makes Capitol View unique.

The Georgia State Capitol was built in 1889 and this historic landmark is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The gold leaf is from the north Georgia city of Dahlonega, the site of the first Gold Rush in the 1830s.

Quirky, historical bungalows shaded by large trees dot this neighborhood. Each one has its own character and charm; no cookie-cutter homes here. Nearby Perkerson Park is a 55-acre jewel with baseball diamonds, ball fields, a creek, tennis courts, a track, and play areas.

Looking for a charming neighborhood? Check out Capitol View.
