West End Neighborhood

Atlanta, Georgia’s West End neighborhood was founded in 1835. With its brick sidewalks and gorgeous historical architecture that includes Folk Victorian, Queen Anne, Stick Style, and Craftsman Bungalows, this is a pedestrian-friendly, quaint location. The West End district is on the National Register of Historic Places.

This culturally diverse neighborhood contains a large arts community. During West Fest, a neighborhood festival, residents can view and purchase local artwork from the artists’ market. The festival also features a dog parade, music, and more.

If you prefer museums, Hammonds House Museum features 350 art works dating from the mid-19th century. Wren’s Nest House Museum is a Queen Ann farmhouse built in 1870.
