Westview Neighborhood

The Westview neighborhood in Atlanta, Georgia borders the largest cemetery in the Southeast. Historic Westview Cemetery dates to 1884 and many famous Georgia residents are buried there. The cemetery consists of 582 acres, and the Westview neighborhood lies on the southeastern side.

The historic neighborhood of Westview is three miles southwest of downtown Atlanta. It consists of a village center and 1900 Arts and Crafts bungalows. Charming homes with wide porches and tapered columns are common in Westview, but it is also easy to find apartments and lofts here as well.

John A. White Park is just south of Westview. This park contains a 9-hole public golf course built in 1929. Cascade Springs Nature Preserve, located about four miles southwest of Westview, contains two creeks, hiking trails, and a waterfall. The Belt Line Hiking Trail is a mile-long path that passes along Westview.
