Forest Hills Neighborhood
The attractive Forest Hills neighborhood is located between Wheeler Road, Walton Way, and Wrightsboro Road in Augusta, Georgia. The neighborhood is characterized by spacious ranch and two-story homes on large heavily wooded lots. A few apartment complexes are located on Henry Street and Beacon Hill. The older neighborhood is attractive and well-kept and borders the historic Summerville or Hill area of Augusta. Outlets from the neighborhood include Lake Forest Drive on Walton Way and Buena Vista Road and Magnolia Road off Wrightsboro Road. Forest Hills is in the 30909 zip code area of Richmond County. Additionally, Forest Hills features a public neighborhood golf club. The 18-hole course is home to the Augusta State mens and womens golf teams and has a proud golf history. Bobby Jones clinched his Grand Slam of Golf at the course and future greats such as Phil Mickelson and Davis Love III began their college golf careers there. The Augusta Magazine rates Forest Hills as the “Best Public Golf Course in Augusta.”
Neighborhood landmarks on Wrightsboro Road include Daniel Village Shopping Center, Daniel Field Airport, the Charlie Norwood VA Medical Center Uptown Hospital, the Augusta Water Works, and Trinity Hospital. Best Value
"Best value" units are located in buildings rated three stars or higher. We label apartment rentals that are priced significantly less than similar high-quality units nearby.
Rent Specials
Apartment communities regularly advertise deals for new residents. Whether it's a move-in special or a free tv, we locate the rentals that offer a little something extra when you sign your lease.
