Jasper, GA Apartments for Rent

Nestled in the Blue Ridge Mountains just over 50 miles from Atlanta, Jasper Georgia, “The First Mountain City,” was established in 1857.

A historic, picturesque little city in the heart of Pickens County’s Marble Valley, Jasper has several structures on the National Register of Historic Places, including the Old Pickens County Jail, a marble-front building built in 1906. A walking tour through historic downtown features 10 of Jasper’s most historic buildings.

Talking Rock is a small city within Jasper that flourished in the late 1800s. Now a collection of stores and antique shops, Talking Rock also has a Schoolhouse Teaching Museum and hosts an annual Talking Rock Festival in October.

The Georgia Marble Festival is held every October and allows visitors to tour the marble quarries, watch sculptors work in marble, and listen to mountain music.
