Located 12 miles south of Evansville Indiana along the Ohio River in Western Kentucky, Henderson is a beautiful city that inspired naturalist and resident John James Audubon. This traditional Southern river town is family-oriented and thriving.

Audubon State Park features the John James Audubon Museum’s extensive collection of Audubon’s works. The park is located on 692 acres and offers camping, hiking, fishing, swimming, golf, and tennis.

Kentucky is known for it’s love of horses, and Henderson is no exception. Watch your favorite horse run at Ellis Park, a thoroughbred race track.
