Masterson Station is a residential community in Lexington, Kentucky. It is located on Leesville Road. It runs along the east side of Masterson Station Park. The streets in this neighborhood are tree lined but not with mature trees, these are trees that were planted at the same time the neighborhood was built. The streets are wide and have sidewalks. The homes are both single and two stories and are all contemporary styles. This neighborhood is about 10 years old. There is public bus service on Masterson Station Road.
Masterson Station neighborhood has a club house and also a community pool. Residents and members in good standing can rent the clubhouse and the pool requires membership to use. Nonresidents can purchase a membership to the pool as well but the rate is higher. There is a HOA that has yearly dues to help maintain the common areas in the neighborhood.
Masterson Station Park has over 600 acres. There is a 6 acre dog park which is fenced in and has trees as well as a hydrant to provide water for a thirsty pooch. Horse riders enjoy the bridle trails. The park has a playground, lots of open space, a horseshoe pit and a bunch of ball fields for all kinds of sports. There are also shelters for picnics.
Spring Valley Golf Club is just to the east from the Masterson Station neighborhood. It is an 18 hole membership only golf course. The course is challenging enough for every golfer to enjoy. The club also has a driving range, practice bunker and putting green. The golf club is a popular venue for weddings and other social events.
