Hayfield Dundee Neighborhood

With its spacious estates and well-landscaped, expansive lots, the idyllic community of Hayfield Dundee is a highly desirable area. Some of the homes in the eastern part of the community overlook picturesque Lighthouse Lake.

This 11-acre public space offers visitors a basketball court, picnic area, playground, swimming pool in summer, walking paths and features a Cold War Memorial. To the east of Memorial Park is Cherokee Park. This 389-acre park includes a 2.4-mile scenic loop perfect for driving or hiking that passes by meadows and woods. The park also includes a variety of amenities, including an archery range, soccer field, tennis courts, baseball field, three basketball courts, dog run, fishing lake, picnic areas, playgrounds and spray pool.

For travelers, there is the Louisville International Airport to the west of the neighborhood. The airport is located on 1,200 acres and transported more than 3 million passengers in 2009, as well as 4.3 billion pounds of cargo as home to United Parcel Service’s (UPS) package sorting hub.
