The zip code for Wilder Park is 40223. Some of the area communities include Wyandotte, Beechmont, and Highland Park.

The conveniently located neighborhood of Wilder Park is surrounded on all sides by amenities. Just on the other side of I-264 to the southeast is the Louisville International Airport. Just outside of neighborhood bounds on the north is the Papa John’s Cardinal Stadium, home of the University of Louisiana football team. Just north of the stadium is the U of L campus itself. Farther east of the country club is the Louisville Zoo, a popular destination for area families. Slightly north of that, and still within a few miles of Wilder Park, are several medical centers and neighborhood parks, which really round out the options for area residents.
