The current history of New Orleans is often defined as either before Hurricane Katrina or after and, like many other New Orleanians, the storm also played a significant role in Josh’s life. Straight out of high school in New Jersey, Josh committed himself to professional horse training and spent many years representing the United States Equestrian Team all around the world. The physical requirements of the sport took a toll on his body and he was forced to retire. He took the opportunity to live in several European cities, including Rome, before returning to the United States and moving to New Orleans in 2002. After witnessing the devastation of Hurricane Katrina, Josh felt a great commitment to his surrogate city and decided to help other residents rebuild their lives by becoming a licensed Realtor®. After twelve years, Josh is still as energized as the day he received his license. He has learned that his role is so much more significant than just facilitating property transactions. The service he provides helps make his clients’ goals a reality and benefits the revitalization of New Orleans’ historic neighborhoods. On a personal level, his career has evolved into a community that enriches every aspect of his life. As of April 2020, Josh has accepted a seat on the RTNO (Rebuilding Together New Orleans) board for the next two years!
