Highland Stoner Hill is a large area located in the center of Shreveport, Louisiana, just across the river from Bossier City. This historical neighborhood is close to medical centers, major highways, local schools, and plenty of activities.

Highland Stoner Hill’s southern boundary follows Kings Highway and intersects with its western boundary, Linwood Avenue. To the north, Interstate Highway 20 and Clyde Fant Parkway make up the boundary, which follows the curve of the Mississippi River. The western border is completed with an invisible line along the Viking Drive parallel.
Highland Stoner Hill is in the center of a major medical district that includes Doctors Hospital Shreveport, Brentwood Hospital, Promise Hospital, and Dubuis Hospital of Shreveport. Though members of different hospital systems, these four medical centers offer emergency, trauma, long-term, and specialized health care for patients of all ages.
Schools in the Highland Stoner Hill area range from private to public and higher education institutions. Private schools include Loyola College Preparatory School and St. John Berchman’s Catholic School, while the Centenary College of Louisiana is nestled in the southern part of the area. Barrett Elementary School, Caddo Parish Magnet High School, and the Alexander Learning Center are scattered throughout Highland Stoner Hill and are all part of the Caddo Parish Public School system.
