The home is also extremely well-equipped with all 100% Egyptian Cotton Percale sheets, Calvin Klein alternative down comforters, huge fluffy towels, plenty of large beach towels and the most well-appointed kitchen you will ever see in a rental home. The kitchen has every small appliance you can think of, including a food processor and an ice cream maker, 2 sets of high-end pots and pans, dish sets, silverware and glassware sets to serve 40, 3 types of coffee makers (Keurig, Cuisinart drip and a William Sonoma Nespresso type capuccino machine with a milk frother). You will truly want for nothing. The beds are what we are known for and the most frequent comment from our guests. They are fantastic! The new heated saltwater pool has an abundance of very comfortable ergonomic pool loungers, two huge umbrellas, a dining table with 4 chairs, and plenty of pool toys and will be heated to 86* (very warm) from mid-May to mid-October of each year. The new custom fire pit has 14 Adirondack chairs and a few small side tables surrounding it, perfect for cool Maine evenings, and is heated by two 100-gallon propane tanks, so you never run out of propane. Located 1 minute from beautiful Higgins Beach, the warmest water temperature in the greater Portland area and a fantastic surfing beach (the best surfing beach around) and only 15 minutes from downtown Portland, this home is bathed in sunlight all day long. The living room, with its huge bank of oversized windows, faces south and has the most fantastic energy and incredible ocean breezes in the summer. The kitchen has windows facing south, west and north for fantastic cross breezes and sunlight. The dining room is very sunny in the mornings. The house has the best floor plan, allowing for privacy when you need or want it, but plenty of space for everyone to also gather together. It is the ultimate entertainer's house and it's large but it's also cozy for small groups or even couples, because of the floor plan. One really nice thing about the apartment is that it offers you an extra full bathroom and also another tv/hang-out space with a large sofa and 2 recliners. It's a great secondary space to hang out with a sofa, 3 chairs and a flatscreen. WALK-OUT LOWER LEVEL: **Very large and sunny bunk room with 5 twin beds. We can add additional twin beds. Room contains both light-filtering cellular shades and insulating full blackout curtains.
