This apartment is located on the southeastern border of the Back Bay neighborhood, bordering the South End and just across Massachusetts Avenue from Northeastern University. This little micro-neighborhood is 8 blocks east to west, and its boundaries are Huntington Avenue, Copley Place, the Southwest Corridor Park and Massachusetts Avenue. The area was formed during a large-scale reclamation of Boston marsh lands back in the early nineteenth century. The area is central to restaurants, coffee shops, and bars, but still has a safe quiet residential feel. There's quiet areas for reading, walking a dog, or playing tennis, basketball, or hanging on the lawns at the Southwest Corridor Park.
