Sturbridge, MA Condos for Rent

Sturbridge is a unique city: overflowing with amazing history, yet looking well into the future with an abundance of high-tech industries. Sturbridge was settled in 1729 and is located about 60 miles southwest of Boston.

The heart of Sturbridge is Old Sturbridge Village, a living museum that portrays life in New England from 1790-1840. The village is open year-round and is a fascinating glimpse into early American history, as well as the location for special events, such as the Harvest Party during the fall season. This event features storytelling, music, hayrides, a beer garden and grill tent, and bonfires. For a one-of-a-kind dining experience, the Oliver Wight Tavern, an 1830s rural New England tavern, is open for Sunday brunch and special events.

Tantiusques, a 57-acre open space reserve listed on the National Register of Historic Places, features defunct graphite mines. The area was first mined in 1644 by John Winthrop the Younger, son of the first leader of the Massachusetts Bay Colony. It is open to hiking, horseback riding, mountain biking, and cross-country skiing.

Rent an apartment in Sturbridge and get ready to have some fun! The area is dotted with rivers, lakes, and state parks, making it an ideal area for outdoor recreation such as hiking and camping. The nearby Brimfield Antique Show is a popular event, held three times a year.
