Twin Oaks Neighborhood

The community of Twin Oaks is located in Crystal, Minnesota, a suburb about ten miles northwest of downtown Minneapolis. The community is bounded by railroad tracks on the west and south, by Twin Lakes on the east, and by Bass Lake Road on the north. Highway 100 runs just south of the community offering easy commuting to surrounding areas.

Homes in the area are a little older, built in the 1950s and 1960s, however, because of this; home prices are affordable, ranging from $100,000 to $150,000. The location of Twin Oaks, offers residents a small town community feel, yet easy access to life in the big city.

Crystal Airport is located here, a small, community general aviation airport.

Residents of Twin Oaks can take advantage of Twin Oaks Park, located right within the community. There are many other parks nearby, including Becker Park, Welcome Park, Twin Lake Beach Park, and Crystal Mac Wildlife Area. The community also offers a new dog park for residents, Crystal Community Dog Park. Dogs and their owners alike love this new addition to the community

The Crystal Cove Aquatic Center is a popular spot on those warm, summer Minnesota days. The center offers water slides, a zero-depth pool, lap pools, and plenty of fun for all ages.

Golf courses for residents to enjoy include Centerbrook Golf Course and New Hope Golf Course.

The land of 1,000 lakes holds true to its name with countless lakes in the area offering fishing, boating, swimming, and other water recreation and activities.

The nearby community of Brooklyn Park offers convenient shopping at Brookdale Mall. Brooklyn Park also has an indoor water park, Grand Rios Water Park, where families can go to enjoy a day of fun any day of the year.
